Most parents give up way too soon on trying to get their kids to eat vegetables.

That’s why studies are showing that 25% of kids don’t get a single serving of fruit each day, and 30% of kids aren’t getting any vegetables at all.

Yikes!

If you want your kids to eat vegetables, you have to stick with it.

Don’t give up after they say no to what you’re serving them a couple of times.

Make sure that you’re trying new and creative ways to make your kids interested in vegetables…

But don’t try to FORCE your kids to eat their vegetables either.

That’ll only build resentment and make them less-likely to eat their vegetables.

  • Don’t be afraid to let your kids dip their veggies in peanut butter, ranch dressing, hummus, or other tasty dip. Kids can have lots of fun dipping mini carrot sticks, celery sticks, and black olives into those types of dips.
  • Start a little garden so your kids can watch the veggies grow. They can take pride in eating something that they helped to grow. Take your kids to the garden center store nearby, show them the veggies that can grow in your climate and then have them pick 2 to start growing.

But always remember that the more you involve your kids in the preparation of the vegetables or they get to do something fun like dip, chop, or pick the veggies from the garden, the more likely they’ll be to enjoy eating them.

Don’t force it, but be persistent and allow your child’s taste for vegetables to develop.
