Have you heard of “Blow?” And I’m not talking about one of the street names for cocaine.
According to Michele Borba, author of The Big Book of Parenting: 101 Answers to Your Everyday Challenges and Wildest Worries, Blow is an energy drink available online. As you may already be aware, the controversy over this energy drink is causing many people to worry.
[T]he product imitates the look and feel of cocaine. It comes as a white powder in a vile. The actual kit is packaged in a Styrofoam container so it is made to look like a block of cocaine…One can of blow has the equivalent of three cups of coffee.
I would definitely NOT want my kids purchasing and consuming this energy drink, if you can even call it that. And in terms of using energy drinks to stay alert, for young kids, three cups of coffee is a bit much, don’t you think?
Are you aware of this product called Blow? What do you think of it? Do you let your kids consume energy drinks? How often?
