Get Through The Winter With Your Kids With Some Apple Heads

by Hong Kong Tran

Indoor family activities are a great way to interact with your kids during the winter.

I live in Southern California – there isn’t really much of a winter here. But it may be snowing where you are. Snowing and cold – so cold that going outside isn’t really an option for you and your children. Well, here’s a fun and creative indoor activity to do with your kids:

Make an apple head sculpture.

At first I didn’t know what that meant, but after reading up on it, this fun family activity seems like it will be a big hit for your kids. The key word here is “family.” It’s something that the entire family can do together.

With an apple, apple cider vinegar, some arts and crafts supplies like popsicle sticks or pipe cleaners, scraps of fabric, and quick drying glue, you’re steps closer to creating an apple head that’s fun and decorative. This activity fosters creativity, imagination, and will teach your kids to make creative decisions.
