Ideas for Indoor Winter Activities for Both You and Your Children

by Miss Mona

Make staying in during the winter just as fun as going outside.

When it’s snowing and too cold to take your children outside, being inside the home can be a bit boring. You’ll go crazy just trying to keep your children from going crazy of boredom.

If you’ve run out of ideas to do with your kids, check out the FedEx Out Of Office blog. This site provides quick and cheap activities to do with your children, including templates that you and your children could use to create personalized calenders and stationary.

Other suggestions from BabyCenter.com include getting a head start on spring cleaning. This way you can get ready for the spring ahead of time! You and your children can clean out your closets and make some donations when the weather permits. This will teach your children the importance of giving.

My favorite activity would probably be curling up on the couch with hot cocoa and a good book. Pick out a few books for your children and the entire family can read together.

What do you do with your children when you’re stuck inside the home?
