How do you know whether or not to let your older kids watch violent and scary movies?

Every Halloween season a spooky movie comes out that gets all the tweens and teens talking…

But as a parent, you’re sometimes not sure whether to let your kids watch these movies, or try to protect them from the violent and fear-inducing movies for a little longer.

On one hand, if you don’t let your tween or teen see Paranormal Activity this Halloween season, she might sneak off and see it without your permission…

Your son might resent you and not talk to you for weeks…

It can put you in an awkward position for sure.
