New Cookie In Town

The Girl Scouts are coming!

It’s almost that time of year again…the time for Girl Scout Cookies.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

On the one hand, in purchasing Girl Scout Cookies you would be supporting the Girl Scouts. On the other hand…those cookies ARE good, and your kids won’t be eating just one or two. Try the entire box.

My favorite type of cookies are the Caramel deLites (formerly known as Samoas). Each year I have to be careful and try to limit myself (although each year I find that I have a very hard time doing that…).

There’s a new cookie in town called “Thank U Berry Munch.” It’s an “extremely sweet cookie stuffed with real cranberries and white fudge chips.”

Don’t let the “real cranberries” part fool you. This cookie is loaded with sugar, something your kids probably don’t need.

At almost $4 a box, your kids’ enjoying Girl Scout cookies for a few days isn’t worth the increased risk of cavaties. At least that’s what I think.

What do you think? Will you be buying Girl Scout cookies this year? How many boxes do you usually buy? What do you think of the new cookie?
