At what age should your kids start doing laundry as one of their chores?

It’s a  6-letter word that parents love and kids hate: C-H-O-R-E-S. But parents, you need to be careful when you’re playing with this powerful word…

Yes, you want your kids to help out around the house and learn some responsibility, but you need to make sure that you’re having them do what’s called, “age-appropriate” chores…

Sometimes all you need is a little common sense, like not letting your 3-year-old unload the knives from the dishwasher. But other times it’s not as clear what your kids should or shouldn’t be doing around the house for chores based on their age.

Take a look at this site listing 15 different chores, broken down by grade level. (Especially the part about kids helping out with pets, and not being in charge of giving medication to pets.)

How old are your kids and what chores do you have them do?
