Are your kids a mess?
Enough will all the super duper anti-bacterial hand soap and not letting your kids eat a cracker before scrubbing their hands for 30 seconds after coming in from playing outside.
If your kids are dirty – whether it’s visibly dirty like mud under the fingernails or “dirt” you can’t see like germs – scientists say it can be good.
In fact, scientists are finding that if your child is “too clean” it may impair their ability to heal.
Are they suggesting that you let your kids sneeze in their hands and wipe it all over the bathroom door handle intentionally? Nope. Kleenex is still a good idea.
But maybe it’s time to bring back the 10-second rule for stuff your kids drop on the floor in your house.
