Texting while driving is illegal, so why do so many people still do it?

Omggggg! Teens luv 2 do this! They may not be drinking n driving, but they certainly r txting n driving!

That’s right. Your teens may tell you they’re not doing it, but boy oh boy, they are.

According to a study on teens and texting by the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project, “48% of teens ages 12-17 say they have been in a car when the driver was texting.”

Saying that texting while driving is dangerous is an understatement. It’s something that could endanger your teen’s life and the lives of others on the road. You have the responsibility of keeping your teen safe, even if they’re not in your presence.
