Parents are saving money by renting DVDs for their kids.

Parents are saving money renting DVDs for their kids.

Now you can get movies for your kids out of a “vending machine for DVDs” called RedBox for only $1.

All you need to do is find a location near you (the ones near me are outside of a 7-11 and inside a Walmart), bring your debit/credit card so you can swipe it through the machine, and bring your kids so they can select one of their favorite movies.

They’ve got great selections…

But don’t worry, there are plenty of movies for adults in the RedBox also. In fact, most of the movie categories are for adults.

More details about how RedBox works:

You can rent as many DVDs as you like for $1 each (plus tax) and then they’re due the next day by 9pm.

If you don’t return them on time, your card will be charged another dollar for each day that you’re late returning the movie. (Cool news: You don’t even have to return it to the same Red Box that you originally got it from!)

And if you happen to keep the DVD for 25 days without returning it, your card will have been charged $25 and the DVD will be yours to keep forever.
