Will you let your kids listen to the president speak about school?

If your kids are in public school, you’ve probably already talked about it with your friends…

President Obama is giving a nationwide back-to-school speech on Tuesday. Some parents are thrilled about it. Others are concerned about it and are thinking of keeping their kids home.

This is another great opportunity for parents to make informed decisions. Because of the concern expressed by conservatives, the White House released a 4-page document so that parents can read Obama’s speech ahead of time.

This way they would know what was going to be said.

So, if you’re concerned about the contents of the speech, now you don’t have to wonder anymore. Read it over yourself and see what’s included. (A whole lot of empathy for the kids and big emphasis on being responsible and going to school.)

One person on Twitter commented that if Oprah were delivering the same speech there wouldn’t be an issue. What do you think?
