Parents are learning about the example yelling sets for their kids.
Recent studies from Duke University have shown that spanking young kids actually lowers their IQ and intellectual ability.
And as years have passed, the idea of spanking kids has become less and less popular amongst educated parents because they realize that spanking their kids also doesn’t set a good example.
But what about yelling?
It’s doesn’t physically hurt the child (which is part of the argument many have many against spanking…)
So it can seem less violent and less damaging…
But what kind of example is it setting?
