Studies show that girls may have the pressure to be stickly thin like the models they see in the media, but it turns out that 37% of teenage girls are overweight and 22% are classified as obese, compared to 35% and 16% of boys that are overweight and obese, respectively.

One way to relieve your teen’s junk food eating habit is to purchase healthier food items the next time you go grocery shopping. This way, when your teens raid the fridge and cabinets, there won’t be junk food for them to munch on.
