Video: How To French Braid Your Daughter’s Hair

by Miss Mona

Have you wondered how to french braid your daughter’s hair?

In this video you’ll learn:

  • What to do before you start the french braid in your daughter’s hair
  • What supplies you’re going to need
  • Frame by frame steps to get the french braid made
  • What part of the hair to hold in each hand, and which fingers to hold it with
  • How to keep the braid tight
  • How to prevent having a bunch of loose hair on the neck line as you get to the end of the french braid
  • What to do when you’re at the bottom of the french braid

Make sure your daughter has something fun to do (like read a book) while you’re french braiding her hair – and if you get frustrated, don’t pull your daughter’s hair! Just take a break and try again another time.

If you follow these instructions and then french braid your daughter’s hair, take a picture and put it on your own blog. Then share the link below in the comments section so we can see your french braid.

Mona,

I wish they had internet with video on french braiding 10 years ago when my daughter begged me to do this. I could not for the life of me figure it out!

I recently did however, teach myself to knit with an online video!

Thanks for the article,
Susan
